Mechatronics students from Xaloc Escola Técnica Inspire the little ones with innovative technology

The corridors of Xaloc Escola Tècnica vibrated with excitement and curiosity when the second-year mechatronics students received a very special visit: the school's young first-year students. This exciting interaction is part of the international primary program, designed to inspire the youngest and open their minds to the wonders of technology and innovation.

They were able to learn how the plastic recycling process works, a valuable lesson on the importance of taking care of our planet. The primary school students witnessed first-hand the plastic recycling process.

Students from higher education courses took the experience to a second level, sharing their knowledge on how to give plastic a second life using cutting-edge technology. They showed the young visitors how, using 3D printers they had built themselves, they were making two impressive six-axis industrial robotic arms.

Mechatronics students guided the young visitors through a fascinating journey into the world of engineering and technology.

The most inspiring thing of all was that this visit was led entirely by the cycle students themselves, who shared their passion and knowledge with the little ones. For the mechatronics students, showing their passion for technology to a new generation of curious minds was a rewarding experience.

This visit was a perfect example of how we can work together to build a future full of innovation and creativity.

Thanks to everyone involved for making this experience a success!
