Dual Vocational Training Day held in DFactory
Companies, institutes and students gather to promote talent generation and cover job demands in the industrial sector
On March 21st, DFactory facilities hosted a day dedicated to the promotion of Dual Vocational Training. Companies, institutes and students from vocational training courses participated in three round tables organized by the Cerdà Institute at the request of the Zona Franca Consortium with the aim of giving visibility and promoting the generation of talent to cover the job demands in the Zona Franca, especially in the maintenance sector.
It is worth noting the participation of Paula Vilar, a student in the dual degree of the Mechatronics and Industrial Automation and Robotics Vocational Training Course, who is currently studying the Dual program at FCC, as well as Alfred Miranda, Coordinator of the School-Enterprise Department. Their interventions served to emphasize the importance of the role of the company tutor as well as to claim the role of women in the industrial world.
The day has facilitated companies and institutes to strengthen ties as well as to open up the possibility of new collaborations in the field of Dual Vocational Training.
