This Tuesday, November 19, the Xaloc Technical School welcomed members of the new Training and Business Council, a body composed of five Xaloc representatives and prominent figures from the educational and business sectors.
Among the attendees were Ms. Cristina Santón, Deputy Mayor for the Transformative City Area and Head of Education; Mr. Joan Carles Pérez, Territorial Training Coordinator; Mr. Aitor Céspedes, Program Technician at the Consortium; Ms. Sandra Artigas, Head of Training and Business Projects at UPM; Mr. Raúl Rodríguez, General Director of the Guild of Installers of Catalonia and PIMEC representative; Mr. Jesús Marín, Training Representative of UGT Catalonia, and Mr. Eduardo Gómez, Training Representative of CCOO Catalonia.
During this meeting, the Council's approval and Xaloc's recognition as an Integrated Vocational Training Center were formalized, marking a new chapter in its trajectory.
This recognition positions Xaloc as a benchmark in vocational training, offering high-quality education tailored to the needs of today's labor market. This will enable the implementation of innovative methodologies and foster collaboration with companies and institutions, ensuring practical learning oriented towards students' professional futures.
The main goal is to strengthen Xaloc's commitment to preparing students in an inspiring and dynamic environment, contributing to the development of society and productive sectors.
